South Sudan

I looked up the poorest country in the world
It is South Sudan
It is located in Africa
I think of the homeless here
They are poor too
I saw a homeless person looking at the menu in the Hardee's drive thru
I'm sure he has access to food at the food bank
But
I know he would rather have some good food
Then there was the guy living in his car parked by the library
I wonder if he was hot as a car can get really hot on a summer day
Then I think of Elon Musk, the richest man in the world
Is it fair for one man to have 254 billion, and another to starve?
They say it is easier for a camel to pass thru the eye of a needle
Than for a rich man to enter heaven
I'm sure with his wealth, Elon will just make a bigger needle

What is real wealth? Money is nice, but peace and happiness go a long way too.

Mcradloff, It is so sad that in our country we have poverty. We need to distribute our resources and address the inequalities. Maybe at some point, the poorer states can improve their quality of life.SM
