Maybe I was meant to walk alone But what of the loneliness in my heart? When I close my door from the world, The silence can be deafening. Living without touch, laughter, hugs. My strength waivers walking alone, Surely this is not all there is?

Maybe there are a lot of us feeling this way on occasion. Doesn’t mean I want a man to rescue me, but a real life person who wants a partner too.
