Rejection.
You broke the bond by saying that to me
I thought friends would be there for eternity
The pain of rejection bewildered me
as the sadness of a reality struck
I leant on the bridge looking down as the river flowed
As the sunset on another day the time to unload.

About this poem:
I thought I had a friend and when I went back home I could always pop round and have a good chat.Then I had moved far away and bumped into him in the street and joyfully wanted to tell him about my new life.
I got rejected and he walked off. I just stood there in the street bewildered.
