Well then, Autumn looms

with the nights on the cold side
thinking midst the sleep of warmer cover
tonight tomorrow will be April
As the computer clocks tick over

What happens here with winter coming
as it does mid year every year?
Well winter sun is a joy
just as cold grey skies are misery

What blossoms here, neither peach nor cherry
I just look to the winter wattle
and the sneezing that then comes
later Jacaranda and the christmas trees

Ah yes the joys of the wattle, many a hayfever moment, not a fan of those very mad
