silent advice

There's a slight sense of urgency here
to express the solace and elation
and tell you with the utmost earnestness
that one day love may come to you
and gamut’s will convey all the edges

that come with knowing your heart
of hearts and fearing your loves.
All that life is and can be, will be,
as you trust soul to another being
let your heart be ruined if chosen,

but no matter, it's another story
of children, respirators, frank talk,
counselors, healing, uncontained pride.
The added family, and friends unexpected
with impromptu dinners conjured from fridge.

All will be revealed at the appropriate
time and it will seem ordinary upon
reflection, as it couldn't, wouldn't
be any other way. Older memories blur
as life speeds past the unmarked car.

The ambulance drives slowly back
to the station, with it's lights off.
No need to hurry through life, let's
stop at the drive-in and get a cone,
and try to remember that girl's name,
that lived down the block in sixth grade.

Hi, agoodguy2have,
I love the line life speeds past the unmarked car! Knowing the destination does make one ponder slowing down and taking time to smell the flowers. Thank you for sharing.

Come lend your senses to natures dance
I'm only 14(billion)years old
but I'm eager for romance... Is it to do with this?
