Fata Morgana

It looks like I was walking in the desert
Somewhere in nowhere land
Alone and tired, thirsty and fatigue
There was an oasis under a shadow of a palm tree
It was fresh, easing the exhaustion
I ran and ran towards never looked back
Day to day month to month year to year
I was close to it very close to reach it out
I came to its place there laid the dust only dust
Oasis in the desert a love from a distance
A fantasy that flattered eye, heart and mind
It was Fata Morgana it was a mirage
