I loved you, and I probably still do, And for a while the feeling may remain... But let my love no longer trouble you, I do not wish to cause you any pain.
I loved you; and the hopelessness I knew, The jealousy, the shyness - though in vain - Made up a love so tender and so true As may God grant you to be loved again.
Solong, my fellow poetess and translator, I enjoyed your translation very much. Carry on! Spasibo, moi drug, i tebe za lestnye otzyvy o moikh rabotakh.
Thanks Solong for the translation. Forgiving is truly the most important part of healing.

And where did you find that he wants to be healed? He says he does not want his love to trouble her any longer. He never said he wants to stop loving her.
