See More Clearly

Many of the learned
Who have thought much,
And especially
Who have written much,
Have weakened and obscured
yea have destroyed
Their common perception,
While the simple
See more clearly
What is good and true
Than those who think themselves
Their superiors in wisdom.

Hi, kennybhoy1,
On a clear day perhaps one can see forever; but, most days are quite foggy and one must exercise care in putting one foot in front of the other. While most people may want to lead an extraordinary ordinary life, leaders may or may not have that same goal. It is up to us to actively choose our leaders with care; and, when none worthy are to be found, we must become leaders ourselves. Thank you for sharing.
