Remnant of a warrior

The golds fell down from my tattered bag
The diamonds rolled down from my empty pocket
The irons teared down from my neck-socket
Nothing remains but my soul-I lament

Now I am a barren field -a deserted field
Nothing grows here-no war is shedding blood forever
I am striving for my home-sweet home
where my friends are no more
as they returned to Hades
Or Heaven-I don't know.

The remnants are the souls I am bearing down
Down to earth-deep into the soil
My laments grow and boil.
I don't know where I am going.

Do you think its a journey?perhaps not
Its a circle where everybody is knot
with his or her wisdom

I dost that-I took part in the war
But nothing remains here but the lament
And the souls I am taking to send
To somewhere-I don't know

a thought provoking write on the aims/aimlessness of war, which can be debated by all but is certainly worth comment and discussion. thanks.

your last verse is very powerful
As your title is
Keep on your journey, I loved it.
