Unnamed Desire

Unnamed Desire

A moments lost in time, stretched out until the beat of the heart seems a dirge
While the clock takes it slow sweet time to bring forth the next second
Splayed upon my sheets, legs akimbo, arms stretched forth the hand griping for life
As my head rocks in time with the gentle pounding I can detect as my tongues sweeps

As eternity begs for the next moment to pass, waiting upon your massive surge
The banging of my heart, slowly, painfully bringing the mighty moment of reckon
As the thrust of hips meets somewhere in the middle, hip-joined, I ask you to be my wife
Knowing this moment may be all we have and hoping to keep it from parting us at it leaps

Yet upon this bursting moment, as the universe applauds and bloods chorus loudly sings out
I realize I hold no sway, no manner of grip upon your heart; that your soul slips through my grasp
And the terrible aching loneliness of one pours back into my empty shell and the light fades
The moments swaying trembling passage leads ever forward and away from our desire

And still, lost in the sands of time as age creeps inexorably forward my heart doesn’t doubt
I would spend any spare moment, and every one you would allow me to bring your breath in gasp
Your pleasure to command, to bring forth your quickening desire, this you did never have bade
For this amongst all, your pleasure and love, I long to call forth your roaring raging lustful bonfire
