---- IMAGE REMOVED because photobucket.com no longer allows embedded images ---- Killing her softly with my words I was killing her softly with my words I wanted her to listen and stay for a while About the truth and love and my feelings So i was killing her softly with my words To show her i still care and that i will always stand by her and that i will always be there I was killing her softly with true love And singing a song for her I was killing her softly with my words Telling the world of true love A lady who shines like the stars And sings my songs in style I was killing her softly with my words So she would listen and stay for a while As i love my angel not just by my words But with real love and style ---- IMAGE REMOVED because photobucket.com no longer allows embedded images ----

She hears..and sings back to you.. Of that I'm sure..Daniel Beautiful words to touch a heart that came from your heart. How can you fail..

OK HHHmmm... Alright, first off I noticed your words in there. BUT, too much was lifted from the Fugees. Secondly and probably most important...because you like the song but didnt quite understand it...you wrote a piece that was contradicting all over the place. Killing me softly can easily be interpreted as a love song but that is not the case, in fact far from it. It was written by Lori Lieberman in response to another lyricists piece. After seeing Don Mclean not knowing much about him Lori was struck with awe by his most famous piece `American Pie'. ( you know...Bye Bye Miss American pie...) The song written about the death of Buddy Holly in relation to the `day music died' touched Lori deeply. (`I felt all flushed with fever') She too felt the same way and while relating to Don's beautiful lyrics and melody was deeply pained. He was in fact `killing her softly with his fingers'. This pain of realization is further enhanced by Don's aloofness to the suffering
`He sang as if he knew me,
in all my dark despair,
and then he looked right through me'
So in the end its a song about suffering and not really at all about love. Just thought I would share that with you and maybe help you understand why its always better when it comes from your head and heart instead of from another persons.

Blizza, I am not supposed to judge, but I think that it is defensible to defend. This is the second time today I have seen you place words that will cause hurt on people's work; it is the second time that I have seen you complain that the poet is not writing from his soul. How would you know?
