Pain leads to paradise!

I stand before you my heart in hand
Naked and defenceless I surrender to you
My thoughts were pure angelic and true
You took all I had, and then gave in return

Your poison arrows of bitterness and scorn
You gave so freely no mercy no morn
Never a mark left not even a bruise, oh, satan is your muse
I should have seen that demon in you

My wounds were fatal, for that life is done
I stand here now heart in my hand
Stronger than most in our sweet land
Yes I am lonely but thats been the plan

The journey continues guided by God
He gives me what I need most, forgiveness and love
You see I fail him daily, yet he blesses me so
I am no preacher or teacher, but I can talk from the soul.

About this poem:
I seem to write about sadness a lot, but I think true happiness and peace comes from our darkest times. It's really just about spiritual growth!

Yes your poem is from the soul, but felt sadness hopefully makes us stronger, and helps us see brightnesshandshake
