The Best Love I Have Ever Known
I reach for the door.
I hear you calling my name.
Your not here anymore.
It's just not the same.
I feel as if I did when you were here.
I can't seem to move on.
When all I want is you near.
No calls on the telephone.
No notes left to say.
I did not have a chance to ask you to stay.
Just left with this empty spot that needs to be filled.
But I can't just let go.
Of the best love I know.
