The other side of self Our fear and our conscience Our soul and our spirit Our existing but unknown identity Our lost touch to the dream world And the sit of all conciousness
Daily we sleep and wake Accompanied by our shadow we tarry And with its presence we accomplished All that is our due In our present incarnation
The body is lifeless When the shadow is gone For therein lies our true life And thus our true self
Live and you shall live Love and you shall be loved Think good and you shall have good Save and you shall be saved Seek peace and you shall have peace Thus our shadow implored

About this poem:
Our shadow is always the true self but we try as much as possible to hide from it.
