Betrothal

In a quiet place,
You and I,
Below an evening sky.
Joined,
Betrothed forever.

Separate
Yet same.
My name imprinted,
Your name etched,
Upon each others heart.

Wove and ducked through
lifetimes pain,
To meet, to part,
And meet again.

To kneel before You,
Open out,
And touch our heart.
One more time
When nothing,
No force,
will make us part.
