I loved loving you

All my tears won't keep you near
All my tears won't mend what's not here.
My dreams break
Nothing else matters
I don't want to wake

I know eventually, my love,
feelings fade, too,
and I can't make love and walk away,
pretending I don't love you.

Love in my life is like sand,
Held in my palms ,
Then a strong gust of wind
Sifts it through my hand,
I lose yet again
everything comes to end,

As all fairytales are likely to end,
Or maybe, as dreams are likely to die,
There was nothing left to hold onto,
Nothing left of you and I.
Something only you and I know.
But as memories linger
Like fragrance of the first kiss
I’ll remember what we had,
Even if you don't want to know.
so all that's left to say,
is goodbye,
I loved loving you, my love..
