Fleeting Moments

The brush of the invisible.
Raising goose bumps upon the flesh.
The shadow seen out of the corner of the eye.
To turn and face and nothing there.
The erie sound of your name being called.
Familiar voice but not sure.
The feeling of a weight on your chest.
Not knowing why.
Can you say you have never felt one of these.
Can you say you do not believe in what cannot be explained.
What causes these occurrences?
Are they real? Or are you insane?

Nope, can't say I've never felt 'em, and don't know if they're "real", but I don't feel insane... Enjoyed it!

Thanks Free and Lady. I think everyone has at one time or another had the fleeting moments. Who knows why. But for that moment you are on full alert

sometimes things happen that we can't readily explain - so we explain them in a way we can, or have heard others suggest. then one day you read an article or see a program and it explains what happened, then you have a choice - to believe the new information, or cling to the old one. i'd like to believe some suggestions as they are comforting - but usually i stick to the most logical explanation, less mystical but more realistic.
