falling leaves

Natures morning
the wind blows through
plays with leaves
upon the trees
loosen fall
leaves to their knees
swirling sounds
she pipes a whistle
as she arrives
then shakes the trees
lifts the leaves
casting them down
then skips along
a gentle breeze
behind her lie
the kneeling leaves
and we like they
are often shaken
wind of life
will pull on us
if only for a moment
