You stand there, staring at

Desert Sand and Fine Desert Sand.
She hands them to you, grasping
Them between your thumbs and
Pointing fingers, one in each hand,
You just stare.
What do you say?

To add to the confusion, she
Bends over, again, in that
Position that, five minutes ago,
You would have plowed through
Two football teams to get to,
Wishing she never assume again!

She rises and jams two more bottles
In your view.
Ultra Desert Sand and
Dry Desert Sand, are the names
Of these two unwelcome intruders.

In your mind your saying
" Desert sand is desert sand.
Glad they didn't make Ultra
Dry Fine Desert Sand.
Or is it it Ultra Fine Dry Desert Sand?
Or do they? Please, please, do
Find it, if they do.

You're still staring at the bottles,
Then it hits you like a Mack Truck.
THE LABELS that are on the top of the bottles!
The ones that are supposed to be what
The shades should look like, when applied.

Now armed with Picso eyes, you
Look harder, and confidently put each
Bottle next to her face, and
Give a look of yes or no.
She's smiling brighter than a
Super Nova, which grows even stronger,
You can almost feel heat rise from it,
As you tell her one had to
Much pink, brown or sand, finishing
Up by telling her Desert Sand is
Perfect for her.

She's almost skipping to the
Check out counter, while
You're patting yourself
On the back for not being
A Stupid Man!
No Flannel pajamas tonight!

She's still holding onto your
Arm when you get to cash register,
Still smiling, beaming, when
She asks "Honey can you please get my
Wallet from the top of my purse?"
