Nice poem.I enjoy the rainy days if I can stay indoors.
The thunder and lightening with the rain thumping on the window pane, makes for a pleasant indoor relaxation.
Today there is no rain, but we're having a winter freeze, brr.

True happiness is available in Nature's simple beauties. It's a priceless gift that many struggle to achieve.

I like this poem.
My investigation into the topic of the poem is due to many factors.
There are many with mental illnesses (cause of isolation and loneliness).
There are many who can't recover from a broken heart (cause of isolation and loneliness).
There are many who are comfortable with a solitaire life (cause of isolation and loneliness).
There are many who are sick or disable. (cause of isolation and loneliness).

Sad for your loss Lily, I've only had one dog and that was for 13 years and was very special, a real holiday companion she was for me, I couldn't replace her so never did. Anyway welcome to 2024!!Cheers

Lady, Love this !!!! zWe I was a child and attended Christmas dinner at my grandparents house, it was about as formal and etiquette an affair as always. The fine silverware, the fresh linen, the formal dinnerware. Yes, it was wonderful on that special day to drink orange juice out of an expensive crystal wine glass! Mizzy, We have an expression in the northern reaches of New England. It's called "Mush Mouth". Simply put just about anybody can speak an authentic local dialect by saying anything they wish to like they have a mouth full of potatoes.
