RE: An Intimate Relationship

Hello David.

My school of taught are the same as yours.
I call him Jesus, Christ, Savior, God.

Here is a food for thought. My dad use to challenge the Jehovah witnesses when they came to our home with this question. "If God is three in one, then who was he speaking to when he was dying on the cross?"

Your thoughts???

RE: The Day

Inspiring poem about perseverance. At times life seems like such enduring challenge, only to change somewhat like the weather or in this case.....day versus night.

What? Manna Again?

Dear Southmiami4321,

Thank you dear, for commenting here !

The Israelites complained about the manna God had provided,
wishing they were still in slavery in Egypt (Stupid - Stiff-neck People)
because there, they had meat.

RE: ~A Promise of Prose~

Hello Amigo,
Nice to see back writing.

I know how you feel about the state of the world.

But, even though we were divided and kept in isolation, we mustn't let it take over and bring us down
Sometimes it's in moments of darkness that we find our greatest inspirations and opportunities.

Yes it really is going there, ty for your words, ..............

such a simple thing I miss, is a walk, talking and holding hands, those moments seem to be on their way gone..........

RE: Ashen Dreams

Nice poem.

Our experiences shape our behaviour, but our sense of self-worth and dignity remains with us always.

Sad, but true. That is the way of the world these days.

~A Promise of Prose~

Hello south, they certainly have changed. Kick the can, climb a tree, pick and eat some wild apples, get a soaker playing in a creek, come in when the street lights come on, garden raid a carrot or two. Early years in my life that being the sixties, a little over the edge fun, with a close to innocent value lol.

I agree with you all the way about the change.

I wish it could be said that the changes are good for the most part, uh oh

Hello Red, ty, I appreciate your thoughts. It's going to hell in a handbasket, right in front of everyone's eyes, yet the commonsense meter is running out of batteries...............

Covid took away the ability for eye contact, for the most part, that in itself is an isolation direction, society does not need, ever!

RE: ~A Promise of Prose~

Be sure Bentle things have changed .....SM

RE: What? Manna Again?

Wafers with honey must have been delicious but you see The Lord provided them for 40 years...have you ever had an empty stomach for days ...sure you'll be happy to have one on your plate! or you'll prefer something easy like this: pizza burger gingerbread SM

RE: Death of Innocence

For a child to lose their innocence in any way, brings in a lifeline trauma very difficult to recover. SM

RE: Echoes of Defeat

Defeat or victory, soldiers will always be honored. Manic, truthful writing. SM
