Within a forest in a glade, Is Nature's finest green brocade, It's nestled by a secret stream, Inside the mirror of a dream. If I should pause, to change direction, Go to that place of soft reflection, To sit beneath a sylvan bower, Some dap

Sometimes we need to feel a connection to a sense of place and time.

One breezy day suddenly this simple idea came in my mind about the day. I had some sort of tranquil and ecstatic feeling at that time.

This sonnet is written as a sublime portals of slightly warmer runoff water enters a slowly swollen stream just beginning to rise with the coming of the first warm rains of spring over a land still frozen in winter time.
Life can only be best described in rhyme spoken by a woman who lives in the West.

Just felt like writing some prose, not really a poem
Watching the garden outside, eating ice-cream and wondering why I am back. But kind of happy to be back.
I love those brief early summer nights when fireflies so delight my childlike curiosity.

buried my toes in snow earth so brown below brown frozen holding down snow all over earth like crown I was freezing pretty pain from one snow flake it kept me for sure wide awake was I something death could take another devil for God’s sake
A few years ago I woke surrounded by a harbour, not living at the side. I had 4 Great Danes and 2 New Foundlands, and sat on comfy couch amongst my dogs. We were raised out of the water, as we waited the water level to subside. We'd moved the horses and stock in time, just incase.......but sadly recent floods came with no warning for so many......
This poem seems fitting for the occasion.
