I wrote and dedicated this poem to my Vacation Bible School children in June 2013 as I gave them "glow in the dark" bracelets to wear the last night of VBS. Love all my VBS children.

I'm new here, and what I see, this world aint ready for me, I'm unique, I'm different, I won't make your mistakes, I know, don't tell me where to go, Your life is not mine, things will be different, but,,,, now I am older, life got colder... I
The walls fall and the debris call, to me, a part of being, now seeing, shut it down and start again, never will that be, Words that mean nothing really mean a lot, don't sweat the small stuff, sometimes enough is enough, Open mind, closed
This poem inspired me because of a bible study group of women called "Beautiful" which I am in.
Jesus, your wisdom is never ending Your words become alive endlessly Being transformed from a sinner To be righteous in front of your eyes Our first walk with salvation Comes along with your forgiveness A journey from darkness to light Many lo

In this day i cannot say why there eyes met with symmetrical position, dying elevates the need for life. recognition is an understanding don’t pretend, the soul cries until the body denies such demise. listening to a fate sealed by the sealed,
Think it is self explanatory.
Composed on my daily walk. Wanting to clear my head to enjoy my walk, I felt some unease. I endeavored to construct a negation of meaning to quiet the mind and could be remembered. With slight changes as I stepped, this was the final result.
Update: For some reason they removed the picture off of here so cannot show it. But this poem was based on my sister-in-law's Pandemic painting she did. An ocean picture - 3 paneled - the far right calm sea with sunshine on the right and dark clouds creeping in on the left. The Middle panel dark swirling ocean waters and clouds - 3rd panel right side dark clouds and ocean but left side a rocky cliff with a beautiful lighthouse with a rainbow beam shining up through the clouds and the sun shining to the left. My sister-in-law painted the picture above the poem as her Pandemic project. She is an award winning artist.

The coffee has cooled in the cup upon the counter so silent it rest since you last set it down so silent so damned silent I did not know that in closing the door you had packed the life that once was my home so empty so damned empty

I was looking trough the poems on here and I came across one of Gongdo's titled "Love Me" After reading it I sort deconstructed it . I did some restructuring some of Gongdo's wonderful phrases, added some new lines and ended up with "THE FOOL" Finally I'd like to thank Gongdo for his kind permission to make it public and post it here. Heel erg bedankt Gongdo. This one is has a bit of a stumbling rhythm, this is because It is based on the The tarot card of the fool, and he is stumbling along oblivious to danger. I would be interested in your honest opinion of of it.

The Last Thing Jesus Said Before Ascending Into Heaven: “Remember ! I Am With You Always, Even Unto The End Of The World.” Amen. Matthew 28: 20
This happened to a cousin of mine who married a dark haired beauty from South America - she wanted to come to America and live like a Queen. Took all his money and went back to South America and now living like a Queen with her boyfriend and their baby. True story. Beware! American women may not be all honey and pie - but at least some of us are honest.
Update: A dear friend of mine was just told last week that she only has 6-8 months left to live because she has Lung Cancer. She never smoked a day in her life!! I originally wrote when entering period of time when my Mom passed away. Towards the end she sat in her chair staring at the wall and remembering memories. I thought it was my memories coming to me - however, possibly it was meant for my friend instead. Kathy

The sky was dark with sprinkles of stars An extra bright star shone from afar In the silence was a loud baby’s cry While in the Heavens there was a wonderful sigh God had come down as a small child Holy – so tender and mild Wondrous Angels si
