Bamboleo song English translation

Bamboleo (song-English translation)

I am interested in the sport of kings. Theres a horse racing today at Fontwell 5.15 called BAMBOLEO, so I thought i'd share the translation. Not sure if it will win, but I think the only danger is UTOPIAN perhaps even the rank outsider at 66/1 has a chance of a place called WITCHESINTUNE. Why not listen to the commentry from the track at www.sportinglife.com and click on horse racing and look for the track called Fontwell and click the 5:15 race and listen to it. If you have sky at the races then you can watch it on channel 415

The Angel

If by life you were deceived

If by life you were deceived

One of my favourite poem

Let Me Fly

Let Me Fly

I wanna fly, don't ya stop me! I am in the wrong world, even more, I got stuck on the wrong little island with mentality back 100 years. And you know, I am not tired of growing old! My mission is to make the world a better place, to leave it better than I found it. And I MAKE changes I am proud of. When people say "But what can I do?" I always reply "Stop saying But what can I do and do something!" I am a paralegal Consultant, I am a Human Rights Defender, I am a Challenger of a State I live in, besides, I am a water rescuer and tonight I am starting my abseiling and firefighting course as well. I do save people both from death and from abuse, I do fight and change the laws and policies in the Country I live. Yes, I know what you say, I am a superwoman. But I do not want to be less. It is the only life I have. Dare to fly? White colour consists from a rainbow set of colours. Far not many people can see it. Far not many people were born to fly either. When people of different levels meet, one starts to lift up another, while another starts to drag down the first one. Both of them are trying to match their levels to get along together. Until they rebel, one or both.

Last kiss in Pompeii

Last kiss in Pompeii

You could hear women moaning, children howling, and men shouting; they were crying out, some seeking parents, others children, and others wives, or recognizing them by the sound of their voices. Some were lamenting their own misfortune; others that of their families. A few in their fear of death were praying for death. Many were raising their hands to implore the gods, but more took the view that no gods now existed anywhere, and that this was an eternal and final darkness hanging over the world. Pliny the younger...

Without Love

Without Love

Galaktion Tabidze (1892–1959) - the 20th century Georgian poet whose writings profoundly influenced all subsequent generations of Georgian poets. He survived Joseph Stalin's Great Purge of the 1930s, which claimed lives of many of his fellow writers, friends and relatives, but came under heavy pressure from the Soviet authorities. Those years plunged him into depression and alcoholism. He was placed in a psychiatric hospital in Tbilisi, where he committed suicide (Wiki). This is how the poem sounds in brilliant recital!

The Darkest Poem ever written Violin Play

The Darkest Poem ever written - Violin Play

This poem is not entirely 100% mine. This was "inspired" by many sources. Folklore, Religion, love, death, and of course other people and wrapped up with my own experience. So there's no exact artist, but I should get atleast a little credit on putting all of it together in a more presentable format. I am sure this poem will undoubtedly play the strings of your own heart.

Cleopatra to the Asp

'Cleopatra to the Asp'

This is Cleopatra's narrative to the snake that will take her life. She equates Egypt's history and prosperity to the Nile. The Nile Delta is metaphorically compared to her sexuality. She used her sexuality to control Rome's most powerful men. But one is now taking it away from her (Augustus Caesar). She hopes her son will "swim like a fish toward Rome" thus securing control over Rome and restoring Egypt's prestige. But it was not not to be. Augustus slew her child by Julius Caesar, thus Egypt became a Roman province and has never enjoyed it's former power since.
