Ellis Song

Elli's Song

A wife who loses her husband is called a widow, a husband who loses his wife is called a widower, a child who loses his parents is called an orphan. There is no words for a parents who loses their child, that's how awful the loss is. A tribute for every mother who lost their child.

ALL DIE YOUNG

ALL DIE YOUNG

King Solomon had everything a person could desire, including wisdom. He declared all to be, "...vanity, a grasping for the wind." So live your life in contentment and joy. Die in peace knowing all your labor in life, all your material possessions and wealth are worth less than piss on a paupers' grave.

Completions of Sayings feel free to contribute your own in the comments Id like to see others too

Completions of Sayings feel free to contribute your own in the comments. I'd like to see others too

Literally at least a 1000 sayings are in several journals in the house. Intend to reflect at certain moments of my life. Predominately spoke "words" in any language don't reach into ourselves intrinsically enough to be used alone just in conversation. These days this is when I need to create art or write creatively, short stories, animations, short film scripts and a challenge put myself in was contacting a playwright on a 2 person stage play. Pitched a script concept, now we are logistically moving through a narrative thread of how to present on stage. I don't work in the arts anymore I'm too busy with my newly formed company needing me behind the wheel so to accelerate the opportunities in corporate australia, minimising the Pain point that we could statistically be joining the majority of people who enter business and fail in the first 3 years.

Part of life

Part of life.......

Choices made we must endure; our lives will change, yes that is for sure. Although we feel that all is good, we must look back at where we stood. Decisions made that were not so kind, give trouble now within our mind. We dream of happy and content; yet face each day with much decent. The woes of life we could not see; so seek forgiveness, let it be! We fill our hearts with all that is true; try not to think what has made us blue. We must reflect on good and bad; for this is what we all have had. Console ourselves as each day fades; and live with all our choices made! Life!!!

For Daddy

For Daddy

My little dog Chloe, sadly died March 1st this year. I had a snip of her hair made into a pendant which I could wear round my neck. We had hope my former partner would be able to visit her before she died. Sadly this was not the case. It's just me and the cat, Oskar, now.

Legend Of The Black Dove Part 12 Final

Legend Of The Black Dove (Part 12) Final

This is the final part to the epic serial poem "Legend Of The Black Dove" I hope all the poets who read this and followed the story enjoyed my efforts in trying to bring my character to life and all the excitement of his escapades, this story was a tribute to the cinema serials that operated around the world making many children and adults happy, the movie cliff hangers ran from the 1930s to 1956, My idea was a modern offshoot to these classics. Learning poetry III Carnival Carousel Roundel

Learning poetry III - Carnival Carousel (Roundel)

The ROUNDEL is a deritave of rondeau and rondine... It has eleven lines constructed from two quatrains, and a triplet. The rhyme scheme only has two rhymes and a refrain from the first phrase of first line, thus, the second line rhymes with the refrain:.. a. b. a.B . b. a. b . a. b. a. B.. example: If he could know my songs are all for him, At silver dawn or in the evening glow, Would he not smile and think it but a whim, If he could know? Or would his heart rejoice and overflow, As happy brooks that break their icy rim When April's horns along the hillsides blow? I may not speak till Eros' torch is dim, The god is bitter and will have it so; And yet to-night our fate would seem less grim If he could know. --- Sara Teasdale

Dealing with a loss of a loved one.

I wrote this poem because I have lost my husband of 16 years 10 months ago. Everyday is a struggle but you gotta keep moving on so how I cope is I write it helps me and I wanted to share with all of you. We all should not take life for granted we should cherish every moment we have because life can sure surprise you at times and one moment your on top of the world the next moment you are going thru something that is so unexplainable words can't even express it. Trust me when I say this that dealing with grief is a emotion I don't wanna feel but your human and you feel it thank god I found someone whos helping me thru it and Im ever so thankful.
