Virtual Reality

I've been playing video games for years
Pong being my first
Then it was Atari
Nintendo came in around 1984
I got my first Sega in 1995
Then it was Playstation in 1998
After that I got an XBox in 2004
I got a Nintendo DS in 2011
Which is a handheld game you can take with you anywhere
Now they have Virtual Reality arcades
Where you wear a goggle headset and are put into the game
I did my first on July 30 of this year
It was Google Earth where you can fly to different famous location on Earth
15 bucks for 30 minutes
So today I'm going to go play a zombie game
I've had a lot of fun playing all these games!

NO AND'S IF'S OR BUT'S #CVI

The 'Left' has reached completely Nuts
it's palpable truth... No And's If's or But's
Whenever they speak they blatantly lie
reality has officially passed them by

Incessant rhetoric is purposeful to divide
nonsense is every word they provide
Wickedness consumes the 'Left's' mind
berate all who dare oppose their kind

The 'Left' has obviously dismissed reason
propaganda more damaging than any season
Media relish exacerbating contentious news
help 'looney liberals' Spin all the 'Rights' views

Treatment of those across the aisle hostile
2016 election turned Demoncrats utterly vile
Everyday they relentlessly Bash our President
ruthless disrespect before White House resident

They sabotage hope for bettering our Nation
while proclaiming to fight for future generation
More ominous than deadliest slithering snake
their insanity surpassed levels sane folks can take

Dems say 'alternative facts' aren't factual in any way
yet News outlets shovel it Twenty Four hours a day
Communist progressives push for Americas' decline
gaslighting essential piece of their wicked design

Establishment Republicans share blame to be fair
what "We The People" want Politicians don't care

King for a minute !

As I sit in quiet solitude,
Contemplating on my life,
I have come to somewhat realise,
That I couldn't use my eyes
To see the truth and the reality
Of our politicians' lies.
But I use my intuition
To make up my lack of vision
To deduce some of the nuances
Which in life attack my senses.

Neither left, and nor the right
Care for anyone, but for their fight.
To get back and be reelected,
To enjoy the fruits of power.
And dish out their non prescriptive pill,
Dictate to the multitude, if you will.
While the sheep will baaaa and clap,
To the victor, a winner's lap.
Whether Blue, or Red or Green,
We the people pay for their scene.

So I came to realise,
Best to not be very wise,
For to be so, it is fruitless
Unless you're prepared to care less,
And maybe join in their ranks,
Even if it's just in the flanks
You'll be one of the preferred
And a little bit more cared,
For eventually they're only after one thing,
It's your vote, you'd be made king.

Except you're only royalty for a minute,
And once it's cast, you're back to nothing!
As I sit back and contemplate,
How the masses can be happy,
With the crumbs that fall to ground,
And the fat lords with abundance,
Graceless, truthless, heartless even,
Play with our lives; yours and mine.

Yet we clap for their attention,
As we pray for a minor mention,
In their prayers to their gods,
But I'd bet against all odds,
We the plebeians are just pawns
In their international game,
Of who's the greatest? Who's the name,
That will live in history books?
Who is daring, who so brave
To change this thirst for wealth and power,
It's not Trump, or May, or Kim
Nor indeed Vladimir Putin.

If you ask me who to nominate,
I'd reply let's concentrate,
For I cannot think of any one
Who is really equipped to lead
The exodus from this present dread.

In the end, we are all dead,
And that's what makes us -
The powerful, the rich, the poor,
The haughty and the meek -
All equal, so to speak.

Humanity's future

Bleak without my freedom
Choice I was given none
Out of fear you trod away
Resigned from it all
Submission to defeat
A call you obliged to
At the expense of my future
In the hands of bigots
terror clad robbers
An offering of my guts and
Spilled my lifeless body
In a cup of sand covered with blood.

But,
Over my dead body will I lose sight of my children's future.

We have as much right to be who we are and I will fight till my last breath is charged protecting that right, wouldn't you?

About this poem:
In honor of a world we once knew which will disappear because of our indifference and nonchalance.

It's easier to accept defeat especially for those who are weak.

Kavanaugh

Clarence Thomas
Now it's Brett Kavanaugh
From the Catholic church
To just about every business
You keep hearing about bad men
Men like Bill Cosby
Who will not keep their hands to themselves
Is this guy guilty?
I think he is
But the more important point is this
Do these victims have a voice?
Are they being protected?
Or are we just too ready to look the other way
Is it safe in America for women
Especially pretty women
I hear this stuff and it makes my stomach turn
And it makes me mad
I want women to be respected
And I want the Catholic church to allow priests to get married
And Kavanaugh not to be chosen as the next Supreme Court judge

Sonnet No1

Shall I compare thee to a wet Monday?
Thou art more miserable and dull.
Watching TV, on thy couch doest thou lie,
guzzling snacks, yet ne’er seem full.

Oft-times too much the effort proves,
exertion for usefulness to devote.
thy sluggish body hardly moves,
save to press the buttons on thy remote.

Apart from thy telly, and need to be fed,
thou seem’st not to have any cares.
Thou doest not a thing betwixt sofa and bed
save to haul thy fat arse up the stairs.

As for contribution to society, to rest some pride upon,
‘tis with regret I say to thee, thou art a slob and maketh none.

Michael Moore

You finally came to our area
No more going to Madison to see your films
For once you picked a popular subject
Donald Trump
And why we got him as president in the first place
Did you answer the question of why the United States has so many murders?
Why are we the only industrialized country without universal health care?
What pushed Roger and many others to pursue such greed and destroy jobs?
Why so many other countries have it so right and we have it so wrong
In so many areas
Jails, Drugs, Schools, Vacation time from work, women's rights, etc, etc, etc...
I have been watching your films since Bowling For Columbine
Which is still my favorite
I watched you try to get Bush Jr out of office with Fahrenheit 911
I watched your acceptance speech for your oscar
"We live in the time where we have ficticious election results
That elects a ficticious president
I wonder how many presidents are really legit
And the people who get them there
Will Jeff Bezos vote for Donald Trump in 2020?
He might since he made around 250 million dollars a day
From January to May of this year
Thank you Michael Moore for movies that make people think
Even if they don't act on election day

WELL PAST TIME

PEOPLE,
IT'S WELL PAST TIME,
MARIJUANA SHOULD BE LEGAL,

OUR NATION'S EMBLEM SHOULD'VE BEEN,
A POT LEAF,
INSTEAD OF AN EAGLE

About this poem:
THERE SHOULD BE NO LAW PROHIBITING RESPONSIBLE MARIJUANA USE.

Cash Call

I love you Cash Call!
Cash wired right in my account
No one would lend me any money
Not even my relatives!
Ha! Ha! Ha!
Ha! Ha! Ha!
(Three months later)
I hate you cash call!
500% interest taken right out of my account
I can't afford to do anything
Not even visit my relatives!
Boo! Hoo! Hoo!
Boo! Hoo! Hoo!

About this poem:
The first part is an actual advertisement with the late Gary Coleman as their pitchman. The last part you won't ever see on TV, but these money lending places are making out worse than bandits.
