Thoughts on Ferguson

Michael Brown got shot
This debate on police violence has been hot
Was Michael in the wrong?
It seems somewhere before I've heard this same song
Ice T talked about it in Cop Killer long ago
There is something these police need to know
The airport screening, the drones
These freedom stealing measures make us feel more alone
Like no one cares for our welfare
Just doesn't seem very fair
The cameras, the unnecessary searches
Make the gate way arches shadows menacing lurches
Fear and untrust creep in
Where will it all end?

About this poem:
The cop who shot Michael Brown resigned because he thought it would calm the violence that has erupted out of this tragedy. He still hasn't been brought to trial. Seems cops can kill anyone they want because it's really about the state mattering more than the people.

the man in the oval office

How can your campaign promises cause so much hope, how can u watch the silence by the way u so preside, how can u watch the misery the police hide, can u even grab a hold of the bipartisan hand, when the fast and furious weapons disappeared. Finding the truth was of no use, leave your thoughtlessness behind u. Then u will begin to understand Begazi was never explained, your image saved even with the death of our countrymen. Time for u to move your ego out so u can begin to understand these problems didnt go away with the waving of your hand, that was a wonderful remark. I listened to it,keeping us in the dark, leave your agenda behind, then u will begin to understand, u where suppose to be so much better than previous. Man

Letter the world 6

You clock out as the countdown begins again for the next day of work,
Yet instead of innovation we prefer to have our icons twerk.
To devalue a dollar and make us materialistic,
With goals so shallow and unrealistic.
Yet we sit and swallow down the propaganda of the world,
Forced to catch the messages that are hurled.
Take a breath and pick up the philosophical tote,
By making you think before going to vote.

About this poem:
Growing up we are taught that the definition to insanity is repeating the same action over and over again with the idea you will receive a different result. Yet every 2 or 4 years we vote for these "people" who lie to us just so they can pad their resume.

Home for Lost Souls

(Verse 1)
Look around you, what do you see?
mothers crying for their sons and daughters
so that the rich can fill their greed with more currency
destroying our bodies with poison in our food and waters
and we just sit back and relax with no complacency
judging others just to heighten our pride and fame
creating a world full of pain and shameful legacies
always pointing fingers, and never taking the blame
how can we be so content with how we became to be?

(Chorus)
This place has turned into a home for lost souls
always searching for the answers outside to fill our holes
why cant we see? are we too afraid?
too look within and confront our demons that took hold
seeing how we let ourselves become so cold
why cant we see?, are we too afraid?
to apologize for the wrongs we inflicted on others
cause deep down we know they’re our sisters and brothers

(Verse 2)
Look around you, what do you hear?
people of nations fighting for wealth and control
not realizing we are one nation no matter how different we appear
one nation of a beautiful earth, one human race as a whole
we have music that teaches us the royalties of the career
but most of this doesn’t come from the heart and soul
this music, only showing us to hate and fear
to disregard morals and destroy the true human role
can’t you see for us to change is so severe?

Campaign Speech

Since I'm going to say anything to get elected
And I'm hoping you'll believe my lies
Here's a few other things I want you to swallow
Smoking three packs a day is good for you
Chimpanzees make good house pets
Gambling is a great investment and will get you rich
Eating donuts will make you lose weight
Dinosaurs were made extinct by cave men
Barack Obama is a great president
So was George
Hitler is in heaven
Drones are here to protect you
Cook you turkey for 350 minutes at 180 degrees
The Cubs will win the World Series next year
The Bears will win the Super Bowl too
Bigfoot lives twenty miles northeast of Seattle
The Loch Ness Monster isn't seen much because he's really shy
Aliens would reveal themselves, but they like playing head games
So when you go to the voting booth, vote for me
Not that other jerk!

About this poem:
Some of the lies are really pretty funny, if you look at it like a standup routine, and not the truth.

blinded by an illusion

take the responsibility bombing naked people backto Stone Age the responsibility is mine to rebuild your home or hospital schools to show them I did not want to bomb you but I was scared of youtreat others differently and the way I treat myself I am part problem blinded my ego when I see the way we look at money should change so completely for the 5 proper profits warned us of the money changers and how it would change our communities are cities countries with an outlook that everything can only be obtained with money I'm blinded by the illusion so we can go and destroy things and be willing to build them back then were let go of gold silver and just do the right thing as part of utopia that is possible

Guilt

thank you everyone!

Posted: Oct 2014
About this poem:
Witnessed this incident yesterday where guilt was written all over a girl's
face as she was confronted of something wrong she's done. Made me think why humans tend to find it easier to justify the action or become defensive instead of accepting and apologising. The good thing is in this case the young girl has a healthy conscience, guilt made her do the right thing in the end...adults are not that much different.

Senator Please!

Dear Senator,

Why do you continue to lie on tv and get paid millions to do it?
Why do you say one thing and then in reality say screw it?
Here we are spending 20 percent of our incomes on health care
When it seems you don't really care
Just lining your pockets with wheelbarrels full of cash
While you make it to your fancy cars with a dash

ten words my challenge ( the pitt)

Monument stand tall in valleys deep
Green tainted by industrial cities
Creative stands tall stained
Of life silent now stands

Where once the revolution of wokers
Tirless worked
Resolute in there work
Now motionless
Absent

Of work and life

The Jordan River

Embedded image from another site

Eastern world constantly exploding
a holy war
AK's a loading
the Jordan River
red with the enemies of God...

Hard to tell what is the truth
nod of no life
land of no feel
Muslims, Christians and the Jew
If you don't support the Jihad
like the Mafia they will kill you...

River of often cruelty and pain
running with crimson blood
river that flows in vain
where the flowers are red
the sky is blue
that is what my God tells me
cause I am blind....
