Homeless

There was an old man with holes in his shoes,
Begging for his bottle of booze,
A woman and child cardboard for a home,
Roaming the streets with nowhere to go,
A cripple with a homemade sign,
"Can you spare a nickel? A dime?",
A big eyed young girl holding a cup,
"Mister do you have a buck?",
A veteran lost since Vietnam,
Holding a poster"Help or I'll starve",
Hopeless hungry with no job,
Wow, we have so many problems,
How in the world will we ever solve them...

What shall we do today?

What shall we do today
if tomorrow does not come
in it's usual way?
Now that the line is drawn
what shall our world be like
come the dawn?
The powers that be are toying with
the future of a terrible atrocity which is
about to unfold who knows what lies or truths
have been told?
Kind of wishing there was a better way
for our leaders who want to play.
Nobody can afford the cost to consider what may be lost.
Haven't we learned by now that nobody will win
for our wage of sin?
A once great Nation is rapidly losing it's station
It wanted change but I don't think it's so happy
with the results arranged.
The shepherd of their hope turned out to be a dope
Yet, when one has a different agenda perhaps we
are not seeing within the proper scope.
To consider what happened on that great and terrible day
12 years ago as we reflect upon those who were taken away
We usher in a new battle of the same war having to reopen
old sores potentially making new ones.
Overall the war was never over it just changed it's mask
now we wonder are we up to the task?
Oh they may love to justify themselves for their own reason
but I wonder is this the best season?
Yes it seems apparent a fool who was uniquely groomed for this occasion where nobody knows whose side he is on when it comes to this invasion. Yet we can pretty much see he seems to dance for his bothers in the hood I can only assume he wants to rule the world if he could but as long as we continue to give him the power he will
be laughing at the last hour. Hence, who is more foolish the fool or the fool who blindly follows him to the burning towers?
In the end nothing will matter as the speculators clatter among themselves wondering in years to come who will be to blame
as we all walk the hall of shame.

Letter to the world IV

Well here we go once again we have major breaking news,
Yet we prefer to hear about the Miley Cyrus boos.
Going to strike another country when ourselves can't see,
Cause its set to the side of the start of football sounds weird to me.
Or is it.. I mean especially when you have priests turning fraud,
I mean did they not read the bible that we all have faces of God.
But hey we'll just sit and see if aaron hernandez gives a guilty plea,
Oh wait Obama took hold of the media with an emotionless decree

Point Of No Return

In the back of the class the boy sat
Trying to be as quiet as quiet can be
Too many times he’d been beaten up
For no reason that he could see

At lunch time he’d slink away
A safe refuge trying to find
Once again he’d be out of luck
The bullies would find him there

Such great sport to beat him up
While others watch and cheer
Even the teachers take their time
To stop what should not have started

Another day, more bruises added
Homeward shamefully slinking
One day, he swore, he’d stop it all
Or die in the attempt of trying

Through the corridors with gun in had
The body count is rising
Dead and dying scattered around
The wounded praying and crying

On he seeks, to exact revenge
No-one safe from vengeance
How sad it is that it came to this
Could have been easily prevented

Where Are You From?

Where are you from?
I am from Platteville, Wisconsin
I live in an apartment there
I used to live in Dickeyville, Wisconsin in a house
With my parents till I was 27
I lived in a foster home in Madison before age 3 and a half
I lived in a home of my natural parents before that
My grandparents came over in 1907 from Austria Hungary
They were German
So where are you from?
Did your relatives arive recently?
Did you move around the country you live in?
I have always lived in Wisconsin
There are some places if money wasn't an object I would like to live
Australia, New Zealand, Norway, Alaska, Ireland
Some places I would not like to live
Liberia, Somalia, Mexico, Jamaica, Haiti, Bangladesh, North Korea
So where are you from?
And where are you going?

About this poem:
Just pondering where people live and where they move to. We have certainly had our influx of new people in my small town, I can't say it is for the better.

There's an Art to Every War

When you know your enemy
Is not your closest friend
The battle is halfway over
Before it ever begins

It’s the weight of the evidence
That determines who will win

And

If either can prove the other a fraud
Or expose some blatant deceit
Proceed with extra caution
Or you might very well get beat

Unless both sides are equally capable
Then the victory goes to the able

However

Never become smug
In the heat of a war
Or pride can make you fall on your face
Even in the middle of your encore

When you don’t really know
What your opponent has in store
Prepare yourself for anything
And be ready to balance the score!

Incase plan A
Is replaced with plan B
You better make damn sure
You’ve also got a plan C

AND

PLAN D!!!

If the position that you’ve taken
Can have an impact on a multitude
Then you have to really consider
What’s in their best interest too

Fighting for a cause
Can cost you all your support
Be it money, love, friends
Even family might abort

But

If you believe…
It’s your mission on this earth…
Standing your ground comes naturally
And you’ve probably been this way since birth

Because

Nobody knows who God calls to walk where
When the straight road is narrowly long
And our spirits are prone to desire what’s fair
So we may have to struggle to right the wrong

Sooner or later…

We all have to face our ultimate fate
And I don’t want to be found lacking
So, I’m determined to try and keep the faith
Or God will be obliged to send me packing

Always remember
There’s an art to every war
And don’t get impatient
Or be afraid to admit a mistake

This world is full of trials lost and won

So keep your head up
Your eyes open wide
And be very mindful
Of who is on your side

It's Time to Fight For My Life!

The day after tomorrow
I’m going to discuss my rights,
With everything I am inside
It’s time to fight for my life.
This battle began 27 yrs. ago
And I’ve built a solid case,
But this doesn’t really assure a win
Given all the time and space.
Me and this insurance company
Have never seen eye to eye,
While they have means to bury me
All I can afford to do is try.
I’ll try to open up their minds
So I can take care of myself,
Hopefully they’ll see it my way
And finally allow me to get some help.
My story is not so very unusual
Except I’ve stood my ground forever,
Now I want a change of pace
And can only hope they don’t say, NEVER!
To those of you who believe in God
I sure could use your prayer,
For He might be the only One
Who can convince them to be fair.
I thank you all for your acts of kindness
Allowing my self expression on your site,
There are no words to adequately explain
How creativity helps me to feel alright.
The day after tomorrow
Can provoke a stress I wish didn’t exist,
But I have to face it all head on
If I ever want to get this finished.
Please cross your fingers too
For its prayers and luck I need,
And I will bring you all the good news
When this ends well, and I succeed.

The Power Of Money

Money is the common currency that we all use
to purchase goods, helping our lives to be more
fullfilling, but over the years money has become
a lot more to certain business people who tend
to make money a god, they worship over everything

else, their wealth has become paramount even to
the fact they will destroy people's lives, making it
impossible to survive in this world of turmoil.
They will start wars if there is a profit to be made
and governments always want money from taxpayers

around the world, creating taxes that have no real
meaning but an excuse to obtain money from all.
Money as we know it seems to have lost it's value
and will not buy very much these days, creating a
breakdown in our lifestyles and causing, depression

poverty and death through suicide, because the
poor people cannot accept life anymore. The world
seems hell bent on the need for greed, rather than a
fairer society, it is all controlled by the power of money.

WAKE UP!!!!!

Wake up!!!
To this cruel society
Look whats going on to,
the forces you cant see

Signs are all there
We recognize & know them

But its hard, to face the fear
When your mind is not consciously
There.

You cant escape the dream
When everything has a meaning

We are in an illusive state,
When we take, in the bate

Everytime we turn on the tv
What you dont believe, the deception
We breath?

Take a look at the entertainers in the industry.
How they dazzle & distort, what we see.

Flaunt there power, money & greed.
They compensate, fakeness in there spiritual identity.

They put up signs & symbols, in sinister gestures
with there hands.

Each picture they take, has a hidden message in
There stance.

Its scary to concieve, you still dont believe?
Watch the rituals that take place,
During half time, superbowl sunday.

As long as theres media coverage,
We consume this everyday.

Just be aware & most of all
WAKE UP!!!!!.....today

Full Circle

In The beginning of humanity there was a humble caveman
Who lived in a cave with his female companion. As they
Looked for food and created various weapons, their
Society grew and they became more advanced in their
Ways of life. They made primitive spears and used wooden
Clubs to kill their prey. As time went on they discovered a
Way to make fire. As thousands of years went by, men
Had evolved, living in huts and using coracles to fish in
Rivers. They created metal armour and weapons, so that they
Could fight wars and secure land and wealth by fighting and
Winning battles, but costs were very high, as people
Would die to protect what was theirs. Time progressed,
And men became more civilised after discovering the wheel,
But now wars became bigger and the loss of life was
Higher, but men's conquest excelled, primitive men
Became intelligent and they built roads and buildings to live in.
They were a modern society, which created governments
With wealth, by taxing their people and forming a controlled
Society with laws that had to be obeyed and groups of men
Who became Police and enforced rules that would cost the
Society money if they broke them, and inprisonment
If they were found guilty, - those laws were to be obeyed or
Refusal would cost people dearly. As Governments evolved
They concentrated on a military force to protect the people
From harm. There were soldiers who would travel on
Land and sea and later air. Bombs and super weapons were
Created to blow up cities and possibly the world as we know it.
As the biggest invention since the discovery of the wheel was
The Atom Bomb. It destroyed many lives and left the fallout of
Heavy nuclear radiation around for years to come.
In the 1950's it threatened to end all life on Earth, and the
Threat has been real ever since. Inventions are designed to
Improve the quality of life in our society, but with all these
Weapons of war have we really learnt at all, or reverted
To our savagery coming full circle back to our past,
Were we used to exist like the primitives in the realm
Of a prehistoric society fighting with rocks, clubs and spears.
