I love loving you

Embedded image from another site

Be happy

because you cannot give anyone something that you do not feel

I love you my lover
I love you and I feel you in thousand colors
I feel you everywhere...

I feel you in millions of water drops
when the sea embrace in waves the shore
coming in and coming out

eternal movement
eternal dance
cosmic... dance

I feel you my lover
I feel you so strong and clear and real

I feel you in the light who is coming from the stars
I feel you in the reflection of this light over the calm water
I feel you in the warm light from the moon

I feel this love from you
I feel your never ending love
I feel it deep in my heart

I feel the certainity
clear and nitid like the light of stars
like sounds of dancing galaxys

I love you and I love loving you

SPIRIT

I HEARD YOU SNAP
NO TEARS OR SIGHS
WITHIN YOU NOW
ACCEPTANCE LIES

YOU DON'T REFLECT
ON SMALL OR BIG
IT MATTERS NOT
TO LITTLE TWIG

WHAT PLEASURE BE
TO RIDE THE TIDE
MIX EBB AND FLOW
NOWHERE TO HIDE

WITHIN THIS SWELL
A SPIRIT SINGS
ENTWINED WITH GLEE
ON JOYOUS WINGS

a million diamonds on a road to hell
but god its all so danm real

out of dreams and burning through the cracks

im in this hell and your to far
seven years gone and you won't love me

Aging

For i said i would
never get old
no
frown lines
no
grey hair.
Just a mind that
fades in and out
from time to time.
We call it having
a senior moment.
Now you can not
steal my line
because that is
all mine.
When you see me on
the street i might
not remember your
name or where i am
from time to time.
Just pretend to do
the same.

Only You

To wake each morn and greet the day,
Kisses good night,
At the end of work and play...only you

Familiar smiles,
Silent speech,
Clasped hands through life's trials...only you

Soul reflecting soul,
Two as one,
Marvelously together growing old...only you

Loving for all eternity,
Together forever,
Fulfilling destiny...only you

And forever it will be... only you for me.

A Winters Storm

Distant thunder wakes the night,
Goods and devils rise to fight.
Clashing steel and lightning’s flash,
Warning all, the coming clash.
Wicked wind stirs up the trees,
Bringing silence to its knees.
Rocky shores expect to feed,
While sailing ships they fail to heed.
Rising swells attack the beach,
Ev’ry charge extends their reach.
Snow and Ice they follow next,
Mother nature by her text.
Bitter cold cuts though the world,
To the ice the night is hurled.
Children watch through frosted glass.
Watching as she teaches class.
Giggles come there near the end,
Snow flake’s dance and twist and bend.
Coming dawn shows fields of white,
Not a hint to lasts nights fight.

The Sphere

The moon was high within the night,
When I beheld a lonely sight.
I came upon it without eyes,
But with a touch I felt its cries.
It was a globe of mist and due,
Of sweating glass both false and true.
I saw it there. I know I did.
But at my touch, from me it hid.
I walked about as if a moon,
While from my lips I blew a tune.
And as I watched it seemed to breathe.
Or did it pulse, or maybe seethe?
Of what it did I am not sure.
Of what’s within, my thoughts did lure.
So to its skin I reached again,
And what I felt was more than pain.
The sweat upon it burned like tears,
Shed many times through many years.
So I stepped back to gather nerve,
And wondered what this thing did serve.
Then through its shell I heard a sound,
Like breaking bones or splitting ground.
And words, I think, I then did hear.
They said that I had come to near.
And as I wondered what they meant,
I touched again the tears it sent.
Then with my sleeve a window made,
To find what thing within it played.
But what I saw was out of place,
It was a man the shadows traced.
A man like me, my eyes did tell.
Though I did find he came from hell.
And when the moon did fill his world,
His head did lift, his eyes unfurled.
With eyes so cold he barked a shout,
For me to help and let him out;
But though I tried I could not find,
A lock or key to free his mind;
And then that voice I heard within,
It told me of his life of sin.
It told me things I would forget,
Those chilling tails of murders debt;
And though I heard the words entailed,
I tried to break the sphere but failed.
I could not help myself that night,
For through his eyes I saw a sight.
It was a man, I saw, was me.
Or more correct, the he I’d be.
I knew right then my futures end,
The gardens that my soul would tend;
And then the sphere began to grow,
It reached for me though I screamed, “NO!”
But by it’s force it pulled me in,
Releasing him who’d paid his sin.
So here I sit awaiting time,
To play for me its morbid rhyme;
For I must wait till I am clean,
Though truth be known I thought I’d been.
So sit I must within this shell,
My liquid cage, my frozen hell!

Oh You, My Hero Shy!

Oh you, my hero shy,
You’ve made a close escape,
How long I played the part
Without help of friend!

To help of yours accursed
Refused I to resort.
Amidst the scenes and ghosts
Escaped you unobserved.

But in this shame of mine
I walked before the audience cruel.
All as bad luck, in public eye,
All in this role of playing single.

Oh how parterre with laughter roared!
You evidence me pardoned not
So shameful of my waste and loss,
The harmlessness of smile you mocked.

And greedily your herds did plod
To quench their thirst on my grief.
Alone, alone – in shame clothed
I’m standing biting my lips.

But to the reckless, hasty mob
Real hero isn’t seen.
Oh hero, you are frightened so!
Don’t fear – I won’t speak.

All our role is just my role,
I’ve lost in it - am nowhere.
All our pain is just my pain,
It’s so much pain to bear!

About this poem:
A scene in a two-actor drama! Once I read that the saddest thing in the world is loving someone, who used to love you. It is even worse when this love is ridiculed by crowd, when all innermost feelings are trampled. “Love, unrequited, robs me of my rest: Love, hopeless love, my ardent soul encumbers...” wrote W. Gilbert.

This is my translation from the famous Russian poetess Bella Akhmadulina. I attach a video file in which you can listen to the audio performance by the actress reading the poem in Russian. For those who know Russian and just for the pleasure of listening to the masterly recital.

—-I am a broken heart—-

My life is a funeral dying in life living in death remains not yet to be sold beginning to old, to many deaths to many ways to call it home, the remains to be left with all this alienation building from all things, starting over and over until I find myself looking at the inevitability of mortality dealing with pain living in vain gut wrenching sadness washes through the empty heart filled with grief of ones hope, caring and staring waiting and crying building and dying, to do what rise? no fall and fall again till nothing has taken me whole taken my soul writhing at night trying to defeat the sunlight faded lines trading rhymes defeated destroyed unknown to all be known to one reality is a manifestation of thought a memory of distortion a debate that’s killing likened to feel that if I fold will I live to fulfil my role, collapsing statements of family abuse turmoil that hides away like a monster in a cave to take to the grave nothing matters to live without telling people to stay without killing people to win without losing people to forgive is to lie to take is to die to end is to start I am a broken heart.
