In shadows we roamed,
Echoes of love now faded,
Lost souls find solace.

About this poem:
In the haiku, "In shadows we roamed" sets the scene of a relationship that once existed, where the lovers were intertwined in each other's lives, sharing moments both bright and dark. "Echoes of love now faded" signifies that the intensity and passion of their love have diminished over time, leaving behind only faint remnants of what once was. Finally, "Lost souls find solace" suggests that despite the loss and heartache, there is still hope for healing and finding peace in the aftermath of lost love. It speaks to the resilience of the human spirit and the possibility of moving forward despite the pain.

Haiku. 575 (Nature)
one spoonful of earth
teeming with tiny creatures
each with huge purpose
Senryu. 575 (Human Foibles)
youths stared down at phones
a full rainbow blessed the sky
alas they missed it

It irritates me
that the moon is always full
though life is empty
thirty days and moons
as many come and shining go
without lifting heart
how can I reach stars
when intervening there now
you are behind clouds
that drift aimlessly
while my feet set firm in sand
tie me to the spot?
last hope then love gone
first jacaranda blooming
adds another year.

Love's procession high
the carnival train returns
turning of the wheel
Sketching in the dust
mountains and rivers abound
two birds on a stone
Meadows in the spring
a golden hour of blossom
fragrance on the wind

Forgotten love - none
But regretted lost a few.
Life's winter just comes
