Mother Nature Speaks.

Lush forest trees are hacked down every day,
For human gain that shows me disrespect,
But toxic mindsets have a price to pay,
When climate change disasters take effect.

With soaring carbon gasses on the rise,
My tears fall on the earth as acid rain,
Loud storms on swelling oceans are my cries,
Wild forest fires my raging, burning pain.

It's not too late for man to save the globe,
But mankind is a greedy, selfish beast,
Reluctant when there's remedies to probe,
Before the population lies deceased.

The warnings that I give your world Take Heed !
My name is Mother Nature, yours is Greed.

If I Could Question Love.

Such joyous Love, why do you make me weep ?
This heart so warm, yet aches without relent,
My mind so tired, still you deprive my sleep,
Each waking hour consumed with sweet torment.
Why do I fall so heavy for your charms ?
Besotted by the lure of womanhood,
And when I'm wrapped in calming female arms,
Why do you raise wild torrents in my blood ?
So many hearts you break with utter grief,
Oh Love, why must we toil to be your slave ?
How can you be so fickle and so brief ?
And yet for some, endure beyond the grave.
The answers lie within Love's tangled mire,
Strewn amidst the agony and the fire

Céad Míle Fáilte ! (Sonnet)

( A hundred thousand welcomes.)

A calling to our land of em'rald green,
I offer from the shores my open hand,
Sweet lady of fine verse I rate you Queen,
From forlorn eyes my tears doth stain the sand.

Oh! Come and bless our castles with your grace,
A love so strong as stoney fortress wall,
I long to see the wonder on your face,
As deeper in thine eyes my heart will fall.

And we could dance a céilí in the eve',
Our feet to float like shamrock on the pond,
I from your English kiss ne'er seek reprieve,
To fall in Gaelic love we would abscond.

At rainbows end a gift, as folklore told,
In Irish arms at last, my crock of gold !

About this poem:
An Irish invitation to an English lady.

I know from your posts dear that you
yearn to get away for a while....
So just for the craic come over to visit
your auld poet buddy and I'll help you
trace your Irish ancestry.
Don't mind the poem dear, that's just
the type of romantic Irish clown I can be.
You'd be very safe with Mick.

A Beauteous Sight

Through the night I do see your reflection,
in the pool made by love's tears that you cry,
in my heart, they would have their collection,
when they were gone, your heart would surely fly.

Take my dark hand and walk into starlight,
with your dark man make all your dreams to bloom,
stars in your hair, an ethereal light,
you shine so bright, within Heaven's vaulted room.

Passions, desires, they shall flow in delight,
love fills the heart and gone is strife and care,
you shall ever shine in sun or moonlight,
a star in life, your beauty you shall share.

In my vision, such a beauteous sight,
you, my angel, light up my every night.

Elysian Dreams

Elysian Dreams.

Let us dance through our Elysian dreams.
through starlit night and daylight’s sunbeams,
where colours of the rainbow, alive before sight,
give you Faith to walk in daylight.

Where Love is ever fresh and bold,
our Love story, forever told,
my darling, held in your embrace,
wherever we are within Love’s space.

I lose myself within the softest brown eyes,
to be in your embrace is paradise,
come now my Love, our passions flow,
under God’s watch, our Love does grow

My beloved, we love in starry beams,
Within the desire of Elysian dreams.

A Tapestry of Growth

Stitch by stitch, weave your tapestry of growth,
Embrace the lessons, both humble and loath.
Each thread represents progress made,
Self-improvement's masterpiece, to never fade.

When Nothingness Matters

My frozen world becomes broken in time
Splinters of beauty does cracklin' ice bring
Those gentle clinks of a muffled wind chime
Wintered valley hear a tolling bell ring

Smokey steam rises from a running brook
Drifts lazily through a dark barren branch
Across the sleeping woods might be forsook
Iced o'er water making the earth's blood stanch

Depart these last days of winter sublime
Water turning vapor before my eyes
Restless as spirits will rise in their time
Ghostly apparitions we need surmise

Castawaya dreams imaginary
Exist either whole or fragmentary

About this poem:
This sonnet is written as a sublime portals of slightly warmer runoff water enters a slowly swollen stream just beginning to rise with the coming of the first warm rains of spring over a land still frozen in winter time.

Sunday

Sunday comes and we meet
We kiss and hug
We say beautiful words to each other
The conversation always relates about the people we know.

As we get out of the trolley,
we either go to Lemon Grove or Old town
Sight seen or shopping is in our minds.

As we say goodbye,
we kiss and hug,
hoping to see each other again
the next following Sunday.

Go Ask Alice

Right through the looking-glass we go,
Perhaps to shrink, perhaps to grow.
To see what's on the other side,
And find what these reflections hide.

A rabbit white with tie, a bow,
Oh where did all the minutes go?
The dormouse fast asleep will be,
When we at last sit down to tea.

Those mocking turtle tears will drip,
Limp mallets will be hard to grip.
The red queen in a rage will cry,
"A crimson coat, or heads will fly!"

With Alice we'll meet friend and foe,
When through that magic pane we flow.
In case of bandersnatch attack,
Our vorple blades will snicker snack.

You know for fun you're overripe,
When Carroll's talking through his pipe.

The Soft Beauty Of Love

In the night’s velvet touch i feel your Love,
in the midst of my pain your sweet caress,
touch my heart and you lift me high above,
You touch my heart with your sweet tenderness.

In the sweet joy of your Love i behold,
the peace of heaven now within your soul,
i shall now sip from your heart’s cup of gold,
and whisper to you of love i have stole.

Come to me and share a Love so divine,
lie with me in our sweet supplication,
and our love-light it shall then brightly shine,
as our heart’s sing in anticipation.

In our dream we are in heaven above,
as we lie in the soft beauty of love.
