1.
“Love’s Own Lullaby.”
Love sings its song a lover’s lullaby,
so softly it sings right into the heart,
lifting the heart to the midst of love’s sky.
A gentle song it has been from the start,
i see heaven in your beautiful face,
from me the song and vision never part.
Come now within my dreams of silk and lace,
where love it does shine with the brightest light,
Within Elysium dreams shines your grace.
You shall always be beauty to the sight,
always you come to me within my dark,
when i am with you life does shine bright.
Now with you my heart does sing like a lark,
your beauty shines and light is all i see,
now love shall always be more than a spark.
In beautiful dreams you will stand with me,
i now do sip from your lips so divine.
With you in my heart i am ever free,
as i look with love on your eyes that shine.

They swayed together in the dance of love
strangers that were captured by a hot glance
watched with joyfulness by a white dove
Hand in hand they strolled around the cove
promised that they would return to this place
they swayed together in the dance of love
walking through the glen filled with foxglove
then tenderly he led her to his place
watched with joyfulness by a white dove
They stood talking, air full of scent of clove
the room was lit by candles and fireplace
they swayed together in the dance of love
Time passed soon they moved to the staircase
he helped her climb up to the bed space
watched with joyfulness by a white dove
They were married in a white olive grove
spending their honeymoon at his birthplace
they swayed together in the dance of love
watched with joyfulness by a white dove

(Villanelle Form.)
In my arms listen to night’s music play,
As we lie by a stream of love’s delight,
We wish the velvet dark night it could stay.
Now send all the cares of the day away,
Together we lie in silver moonlight,
In my arms listen to night’s music play.
Now in our peace our love we do display,
As our passions do come forth shining bright,
We wish the velvet dark night it could stay.
I hold you close and our love flows gently,
Your lips meet mine in the kiss of the night,
In my arms listen to night’s music play.
Your eyes they do shine with love perfectly,
I drown in the depths of their love tonight,
We wish the velvet dark night it could stay.
Come join me tonight in love’s sweet embrace,
In my arms listen to night’s music play,
Ever be with me with angelic grace,
We wish the velvet dark night it could stay.

My carnal feelings fly sky high
as you walk towards me smiling
turned on I let out a sigh.
Fingers trace down towards my thigh
setting my insides quivering
my carnal feelings fly sky high.
I blush and squirm going all shy
the warm flush setting loose feelings,
turned on, I let out a sigh.
I wilt in your arms ending nigh
as our passions mix exploding
my carnal feelings run high.
Emotions running hot and high
course through veins like streaked lightning
turned on, I let out a sigh.
Slowly the world stops revolving
tensions freed both now quivering
my carnal feelings run high
turned on, I let out a sigh.

Return to me, I say that a lot now
For people I love drop away as though
swallowed by the quaking of the Earth.
Even the crack of thunder peals rhe air
As each gave up an agizing, last breath.
A son, a husband and a first boy
hoiend who was a friend for 55years.
A woman of deep faith for years, I
still ask periodically, Where di they go?
Where are they? and I wonder, will they ever return as I have?

It was a hot and dusty day
the crowd fidgets as it waits
bull dripping sweat in shute bay.
howdy folks the announcers say
Raging Tornado in shute awaits
it was a hot and dusty day.
Saddle slipping this and that way
only held in place by weights
bull dripping sweat in shute bay.
R.T. chews on his cud of hay
pawing the ground in anger waits
it was a hot and dusty day.
Flies out of shute now comes what may
saddle slips man evacuates
bull dripping sweat in shute bay.
Riders distract bull hold at bay
while man slides out and valuates
It was a hot and dusty day
bull dripping sweat in shute bay.

Traveling the roads of destiny
many surprises to be found
each leading to some new beauty
Some journeys taken most blithely
for exotic places we are bound
traveling the roads of destiny
Fabulous sights from balcony
of spires and ancient battlegrounds
each leading to some new beauty
Journeys some take with ceremony
for new places we are now bound
traveling the roads of destiny
Paths reach out in disharmony
the right one has to be now found
each leading to some new beauty
Some of them full of tyranny
the awful silence of no sound
traveling the roads of destiny
each leading to some new beauty

The arrow pierced his armour
causing an open painful wound
he had thought there would be glamour
He lay waiting feeling amour
as he saw a woman gowned
The arrow pierced his armour
His wound she did kindly cover
to her spirit he's attuned
he had thought there would be glamour
she poured into it liquor
which stung making it burn and pound
the arrow pierced his armour
It was now letting out odour
she made sure it was tightly bound
He had thought there would be glamour
At his grave a single mourner
her tears were falling without sound
the arrow pierced his armour
No glory here just some clamour
dead he lay no longer earthbound
The arrow pierced his armour
he had thought there would be glamour
sadly many young men think war glamorous
until they face the battlefield soon to
learn there is none just pain, suffering
and death.
