The poll is fairly simple and I am sure that it has been done or a similar one. Please feel free to elaborate on why you voted one way or the other. Just for fun, so please be honest so we can really get a idea on the percent even if you don't wish to post. Thank You for your participation. Nikogas ;-}

For me... I only date guys 6' and over, ok maybe 5'11' at a push..
It the first thing I look at on a profile, I just have a thing for tall men, I did try dating a short guy, but nope, It was like dating a kid.. (sorry all you short guys)
I have to admit... women maybe prefer tall men generally ... but the most exciting man in my life was short... as me, and introvert... you cannot say he was a handsome guy... but I was just mad about him!

I quoted yours as I was laughing to myself being under 6 feet tall, It is nice to see that some are comfortable with a man that is not 6 foot or 7 foot. I really appreciate everyone's honesty and candor. Thank You and all that Voted. It will be interesting to see what it comes out after hopefully more vote. TY Niko ;-}

Dear Jac, that is why I did put the option to pick that you would, date a man of any height, short or tall, even though you did not vote I thank you for responding as a post. Nikogas

I've voted now.
I think you might have got a better voting response with different boundaries, though.
A lot of women view a man's height in comparison to their own. As most people fall into the category of 5 to 6 feet tall, your category of 5 feet and above does not distinguish preferences very well.
I'm roughly average height for a woman at 5'4". If I had a preference for men taller than me, (which does have a significant psychological history), a man of 5'3" and 5'5" would both fall into this one category of over 5 feet tall.
Perhaps more interesting would be to explore why people have height preferences.
jac379: S'okay, I sneaked my vote in when you weren't looking.
Very Glad you did, I just tried to post to this thread the proper way and it went to have me start a "new thread" or "poll" so I apologize if that is happening to anyone else. I appreciate you voting, I think it would be great if we could get more votes to tell us an idea on if one is more popular than the next. if anyone else has problems just quote this post or another ,,thanks again. And for the rest of them who are turned off when a guy isn't 'tall dark and handsome'...I guess it's only karma when they're passed over for not being a gym bunny.... I don't know why I'm peeved... I guess it's just that only very few people care to pass some sort of respectful little 'sorry' for not being 'into' you...like I would for a girl under a size 12...
great quote. what's on the inside is what is going to make a relationship.
but having said that, i do prefer men who are taller than myself. while that might make me sound shallow, i think it's o.k. to have preferences. being 5'5" hasn't really made it an issue. lol
i didn't vote as there was no choice that reflected that option.
