Pizza Hut because to eat in you can have unlimited trips to the salad bar with any meal for no extra charge and that includes lots of different types of salads, lots of types of dressings, bread sticks and Dorito-type chips and with a jug of water you can feel stuffed for just £7.00 (US$11). Not that I make a habit of it, but for a nice cheap meal in good surroundings Pizza Hut wins every time.
I must select 'none of the above'. The big franchise chains make crap pizzas. It is all done to a price, to a formula worked out by soulless passionless bean counters who neither know nor care about food and then executed by minimum-wage staff who know and care even less. For a good pizza one needs to find a pizzaria or restaurant that is owned and staffed by Italians who have a passion for food (aka not just a job). The bases are right, there is plenty of topping and it is cooked just so in a wood-fired oven. Big American franchise pizza chains . . .
