I voted the 60's,but it's from there until the present really...I love the dance/trance music thats played now,makes me feel I was born before my time,lol.

Juneau: I was playing a dvd music game the other day, called "Beat the Intro". I quickly realised that I knew virtually none of the music from the 00's, a few from 90's, quite a lot from the 70's and 80's but got virtually 100% every time from the 50's and 60's!!! (I'm not old, I'm just retro!) LOL
So...which decade of music is your favourite?

Yep...completely agree with you there. I think everybody likes music from all sorts of era's.

My music preference took a dramatic turn in the late 70's into the 80's and still exists today.
I can't say I was a punk rocker but the music was intense, new and creative. I listened to some punk rock mainly at a freind's house who had a brother very much into it. I kept listening in between the usual rock music of that time, but suddenly I realized I listened to more punk/alternative than I did regular rock.
Traditional punk rocker...I mean hard core punks would say punk rock died in the mid 1980's. I sort of agree but the variation of music that came out as a result of the punk rock era is also very creative and entertaining.
Ok I'm done boring everyone....

I may have been a child of the 60s, but i definatly found my music legs in the early to midd 70s...
Some call it the decade that taste forgot, I prefer to think of it as the decade that saw the most eclectic styles of music sharing the chaets...
Certainly ,the music i listened to then became the roots and branches of what im listening to over 30 years later...
That said, I am starting to warm to the 80s...

Juneau,The Honest answer is that we are better than Our Ancestors ,We have Unlimited Facilities they didnt have ,we have Luxury Cars ,Phone ,Internet and so many Other amazing Things ,We dont have to Go on a Camel or Horse but in the aeroplanes and Aircondition Cars ,So...which decade of music is your favourite?
personaly ,I like the Time when we had Holy prophets Of God ,They lived wth peace and love and they gave and showed the True and perfect way of Life and After Death .
I wish i was in the Time of Prophet Muhmmad,Joseph,Jesus or Moses etc
