I tad extreme that generalization I think. I know some selfish people but they are not bad, they just don't have the capacity to consider others. They are singletons, never had kids or a long term partners. They have never had to think about the needs of others....

I agree with you about manipulaters as they will do all of the above to get what they want (and that is usually a control issue with them). The arrogance with which they view themselves is bordering on being sociopathic.
