if tried to make it work prior time and it didn't. Why would it be any diff next time. If the person is true to themself their whole life. Half these problems wouldn't occur. But some just can't help themselves. Always wanting what they haven't got is what I think they're thinking. Then I feel not wanted. If one ask the question to potential reconnection an they have not answered or you see them with other. It's finito. Life is too short and I not like being In limbo as I would put it. There is a big difference between being still friendly with exes, or any other men, and being romantically interested in them.
