I have had a couple of cases of teenagers - I worked with - who tried and continued and became addicted to drugs, I took part in their funeral with my daughter. As well I have possibility to take her with me to institution where teenagers overcome the addictions... I assure you, horrible view for a visitor to be there...

in driver safety they took us all to the mortuary and they showed us a dead body. I remember it well...it got the point across..not sure what they do today..that was in the 70's

I would be grateful that he/she was able to discuss this with me instead of going behind my back. I would praise him/her for being mature enough to think things through without bowing to peer pressure ... I would talk to him/her about the law and about the choices we make in life and would then trust him/her to make the right decisions for themselves.
