NessyBaby: I'm all for it, but it wouldn't effect me because I've never gone too church and don't intend to.

Claayer: Traditionalists within the Church of England are set to clash with campaigners in favour of female ordination in a key debate on women bishops.
I think they may of over looked something, Correct me if Im wrong but isn’t the head of the Church Of England A Woman ??
Hi claayer..well although Im not a religious person I was brought up in the Church of Scotland.....so we were always used to women ministers taking the sunday service....why should there be any difference? Are men more in touch with God....Ive never heard such rubbish......some of the churches should drag themselves into the 21st century before its too late....surely the attendence figures must tell them something....
trish123: I think its bizarre that it ever became a mens club in the first place...........
Actually it wasn’t until about 500 or 800 ad (I think) that women where written out removed from of a lot of the bible/Christian church , Up until then women where very much an important part of the early Christian church
I'm just thinking it's simpler the way it is - just the young boys in the congregation had to worry. If they let women into these positions, then the young girls would have to worry, too.
