I forgot to add that I'm in the process of switching careers. I'm in school again now. I wish I would have had an idea of what I wanted to do much earlier I think I needed a taste of other fields in order to see what I didn't like. Better late than never.
hoolet: nah...I´m looking 4 a new one............any suggestions????
You have a great fashion sense, based upon your pics. Maybe a career in fashion? Some people are not good putting together attractive styles or the right colors for their particular look.
anninspain: I recently went self employed and love it. I must admit it was a bit of a gamble, but you only live once so grab the chances that come along
I trained as a travel agent, then somehow ended up being a modern languages teacher fo rmany years ...
Have now left the rat race behind and have no career as such, just make a (basic) living doing a bit of teaching (languages/art), interpretting, translating AND painting pics and doing crafty stuff! Love the not being "pegged down" and having the choice to say "No! Today I´m resting and indulging myself!"

I strongly considered training for the travel industry, but I figured that travel is the first thing people give up when the economy is bad so I changed my mind
I took up the course I have now not because I want it but I was influenced by my family. When I started working, I didn't like it much. But when I experienced the real dedication for the profession I have chosen, I realized it is my calling.

Depends who you work for!!!
There are always people in the world with loads of money to travel.
