Oh Heavens, dear lady, socks with Birkenstocks are so declasse'; tres gauche; tres faux! It is rather stylish, however to at least add some colour to one's toes for a more formal occasion. I just love turquoise or cerise...

i've been standing on that corner in my birkenstocks and sequins feeling a little silly as i was expecting you and felix. and Dj to join me.
(which is a pretty awesome visual when ya think about it...all of us standing there all tribal...
)and would certainly perk up the ol' tweed curtain me things...
and you're right, sans the socks for me.
how is anyone gonna see my pedicure and painted nails if i'm wearing socks.
(back when i lived in victoria, i had turquoise hair...lol..but ya have to forgive me,....it was the 80's...grin)

My son's girlfriend has a large turquoise streak across her hair in front...what is old is new again...they just had a nice art showing downtown; The 'Tweed Curtain' needs an Open 9-5 sign on its official sign! One night, I may do it!
