serene56: Know where you're coming from on this one
There's been times when I've been so disgusted with the lot of them that I've had my name crossed off the list on voting day so as not to get fined and just walked straight out again
In fact I've felt like doing that every time the last few years
Yes and its hard to know what to do when you live in certain areas .As I mentioned lived in the Port Adelaide area well past the Port.Reall working class /unemployed section of the Port Adelaide Enfield area . Labor had a large swing against them last state election still wasnt enough to oust them from the area.
So do u vote for someone else even though it means nothing in strong liberal or labor seats .I made a rather funny remark at the local state league footy here in Adelaide .A certain labor politician got up and left the grandsatnd I yelled out typical politician going gets either to hot or cold and they nick off lmaoWell was funny at the time .god im bad .
Still if we voted the reds in everyone including my unemployed kids would have a job yes it would be just as mindless and boring as their dad lmao
Aldi is my friend, having one across the road helps. I have Woolworths, Coles and IGA in town too, but since Aldi set up, my shopping bill has fallen big time

robplum: I think I heard Abbot intends increasing parental leave payments, in that way he intents imposing a what amounts to $8 billion tax on business
How on earth did we ever survive way back when....

daggyone: I even steam stamps off envelopes and glue stick them on letters I have to post if the letters that come to me haven't been franked
I am on workers comp at the moment light duties, which means I cant do my normal job but I can do a higher job, driving a truck! The boss has cancelled my overtime even sending out inexperienced drivers rather than me? You can forget Jenny Craig for a weight loss programme, try paying a mortgage on minimum wage! I now eat once every two days so the kid has something too eat, You really have to love this lucky country that we live in?
As you are lucky if you can find a boss and a job that you like to pay the bills?
