When are people going to realize that no matter who you vote for the real power is in the hands of the Financiers, Bankers, Corporations, press, TV etc, they pay to put politicians into power, they dictate policy, they control the countries purse strings, decide against who and when to go to war.
Politicians are puppets, and anyone who thinks differently is deluded or worse, brainwashed.
A son said to his Dad "I am considering a career in organised crime" to which his father replied "Government or the Private Sector?"
The sad part is that a lot of politicians actually believe some of the crap they spout.
For the paranoid of you, this is not about any particular politician or country.

You are indeed absolutely correct. One is better voting for who they believe will do the least damage rather than who they think will do the best job. And yet, still, there will be little difference, I'm afraid. One key factor I feel is important is that if one abstains from voting, there is no cause for complaint later. Be pro-active, be decisive and it may take just one vote to make a difference to the outcome.
But, yes, the almighty banks are the ones that run the show. Here in the UK we are getting a wee taste of that now but its, no doubt, just the tip of the iceberg.
No, most politicians only care for power and how much money they can get from public offices, it is the case here in my country, government is so corrupted no one trusts it anymore.
I was once involved in politics because of my career, but honestly after seeing how things are done I felt disgusted and decided to simply keep working on my own, it is much better.
Here in the US, the electoral college votes for the president. So far, they have voted with the majority, but it will be a huge shock to the people if they don't. Most people think their vote really counts for something.

usually no
sometimes yes - wish the sometimes came more often...
I don't believe a society without representative government would look the same as what we have now.
the problem as I see it is that we have been 'conditioned' by the
banks, politicians, corporations (are people too) media titans other power elites
to believe that they have the power to make life better for us all that they are the saviour and true agent of salvation for every living soul on this planet.
so we go into election mode with this silly idea that things will get better when we allow the elites to steer our civilization in the direction they 'want' in the silly hope they know 'what' they are doing.
we should be more mature in our approach to elections. we look as naive and deluded as the Egyptians.
I cant imagine where they got all their ideas about democracy from....
I never casted my vote in my whole life because i hate politicans they are corrupt and electoral system was not modren before. They said they have made it computerized this month if they are speaking true i will go on cast my vote first time to the right person in future

You are correct. All the major political parties in Western nations are controlled by the same (Jewish) big money, which manipulates those governments and the entire societies from behind the scenes.
it does 100%...if we dont vote than some1 not deserving gets the seat and than we all blame the government for not being good.. despite knowing that we never did anything to make it not happen..

so yea it does surely
I think the point is that none of them are competent or deserving. It's no longer a threat tat they will be voted out of office, as one term is enough to guarantee them a substantial lump sum and pension to ease them through their lives. Anyone who believes that politicians are interested than any one other than themselves is, in my mind, naive.
