I have 8 grandchildren that I know of and a great grandchild due on the 23rd. Although I don't see them very often as they are all over the place, some in the UK and a couple in NZ but I think about them every day and keep in contact with them via Skype now and again. Having grandchildren at least tells me that I have achieved something worth while in my life.
Just got back from visiting my grandchildren in the United States, two very wholesome American boys aged 7 and 14 and doing lots of sports and also community work for the oldest. Love them to bits. Their half sister is eighteen and lives in the UK. They are all awesome. Can't wait for my youngest daughter to have kids thought she says she doesn't want any - not at the moment anyway.
2Whitedoves: It's so enlightening to read all of your responses and to see how much joy is given to us by our grandchildren no matter what color, age, culture! Enjoy every hug and minute spent together. I have a new grandson, 6 days old, he is local and a 4 year old granddaughter who lives out of state but we have a sweet connection thanks to technology! I hope I get Blessed with many more in the future! Enjoy
I have two grandsons ages 22 and 19 and one great grand daughter who is 2, I love them all as if they are my own kids, I only have one son, but I feel truly blessed, Being a grandparent is Fun, and it keeps you young. xx
