I know sometimes I'm in a place or with someone and it would be rude to answer at that point and time. Sometimes life gets in the way of what we want to do at the time we want to do it. Try again.

Well I see it this way! If she not answering your text she's not interested. Plain and simple. I'm seeing someone on CS. When she texts me, I answer right away. Or she knows I'm driving or busy! When I text her it's the same. If I was texting someone who never answers. Screw them in the bad sence. Move on she not worth your time! because if some1 doesnt answer they are definately ignorant and u shouldnt waste time emailing them. if the women on here have gosh tall n handsome dont bother with them either there looking for a trophy partner a show piece to show off like a pet. if they have looking for some1 generous or love to travel there gold diggers pretencious and sad and are not interested in a person or their personality or traits but a blabk check to ceed their manipulative habits so dont be foolish to text or even reply to them. if the person is decent honest and a trustworthy person they wont worry about looks status or what value a person has but more in whatthe person is really like inside a soul mate some1 they can always rely on.

I have found that 90% dont reply even if a compliment is sent via a flower. I have decided that if they dont reply they probably were not worth knowing in the first place.

People who dont answer have their reasons....
the main one being people really dont read profiles properly in the first place...
mine says not looking /taken..yet I get mail constantly asking if I want to chat etc..ignoring these emails does not make me ignorant

A large number of the profiles are fakes, created by black men in Ghana and Nigeria, through which they try to run scams.
As for the genuine profiles, I have found that women in general simply do not answer if they are not interested. Even a polite 'thankyou, but I am not interested' seems to be outside of the operating system of the female brain.

I sometimes write a shopping list out as a text message on my fone then {hundreds of Miles away }to save it to view around the shops , send the shopping list to a friend so it Saves for viewing .
Sometimes i get fone calls off those who recieve the list but never bother answering the fone .
You know its only going to be an abusive call .

I had the same question because I would not give out my number to someone who I would not answer....with texting it is not always possible to answer right away but I do respond to my texts as soon as I can. BUT only people close to me know how to text me....
as far as emails on here. IF there is ANY personal info such as email phone #s, or requests for my real name in the first few messages....I hit block/delete. Or if I can tell from a profile that the person is more than an hour or 2 from me, I will tell him thanks but it's too far

On dating sites or any elsewhere, that is only a question of education. i always text back even with a few hours of delay when i am very busy or off.. that is exactly like any other thing in life, that is called RESPECT and POLITENESS ... OHHHHHH what did i say there LOL ????
I've been taught that one must give respect to get some back thats the basics of any civilized citizens, young or old doesn't matter..
so i have a question .. why do you text these people ? .. just wondering LOL .. live to the fullest choose your friends and lovers with much attention so you will be payed back.. let down rude and uninteresting people thats a such a waste of space and time .. just my opinion..

equiya: I am like you. I will NOT answer back anyone I am not interested in. I will just block the person. All you get is insults back when you answer politely, "Thanks but no thanks". I even offered someone friendship, He got so mad at me, semt me insults back because I won't date him. You can't text me anyway, because I have no cell phone and won't give out the number if I did.

Well if you got their number they were obviously interested at one time, but if they are not returning your txt, their interest may have turned to someone else. After two unanswered txt, you should get the hint and move on. I had a guy friend who expected for me to respond immediately, and when I didn't ( was in the shower) he sent another within in a minute being a bit rude as if I insulted him. That was a total turn off. People who rely on texting as a sole way of communicating is needy,or insecure... just call the damn person and have an actual conversation. If you get voice mail with not return call... There's your answer...Move on
