I am almost 2 yrs older than my fiance. It's not an issue.

Not all older women are more reliable and mature than the younger ones. Most but not all. I've dated women ten years older then me, and just like life, everything is a hit and miss.

The question you pose confuses me a bit. When I was 18 a 30 year old woman was definitely older,....but now that I am 55 a 30 year old woman is young enough to be my daughter! Are you referring to an age difference? Dating a woman older than yourself? I have found that "age" really doesn't influence love! Depending on the difference it can sometimes have a bit of logistical confusion,...ie; a 98 year old falls in love with an 18 year old,....but hey, love is love. But no matter the age of either gender, hearts can be broken, or matches in heaven can be made! You basically answered your own question when you said "all I really desire is just one person that would love me for who I am". If you consider your statement, age, race, colour, hair colour, religion, political background,....what do they really matter? Species?
