OMG, I can't stand it when men wear earrings.
I was watching a Country Music show last night and some of these guys had more then one earring.

Necks bells, Monte, even pirates wore and wear earrings. It's there form of funeral payment. The larger a pirate's earrings the better funeral arrangements he had..

I am not in favour of ear piercings for women, either. Why? Ask any acupuncturist. They will tell you that ear piercings are a great way to cause serious damage to your health, because there are acupuncture points throughout the ear that are connected to just about everything in the body. It could be compared with driving a nail through your computer's motherboard and then wondering why it farked the computer.

I dont like piercings on men at all, odd since I have my ears pierced twice in one ear and 3 times in the other and intend to get them done again later in the week.

I started with one ear pierced about 40 years ago. I added just a few more later in the years and then went with a bit larger gauge. I don't give it much thought and if I choose I take them out. If I am Sparing in a formal Dojang or competing I would remove all jewelry so I don't lose a body part.
Of course there are always going to be people that will never understand these things. Even being a straight hairdresser here on this site in this day and age you would think that would be no big deal. NOPE, there is ignorant people that are from all parts of the world and stereotypes run deep. I doubt that people will ever totally lose the preconceived notions embedded in so very many. So I just say deal with it.
But these fotos that I have seen posted here are obviously ultra extreme and the tribal deal on the one. If I worried about the way people thought I should be, or my hair length, then I would have no backbone. I am who I am and those that don't care for it or judge me because of it I would see as pretty shallow. But some live and let live without whispering in the background, some can't help themselves, and that in itself is quite ugly in my opinion.

Pretty sure it's an AK-47 or chicom type 56, if i remember right the ak-74 had a plastic magazine, either way it's one helluva ear ring.
