First and foremost, I listen to those who have my best interests at heart. Sure they make mistakes and might be wrong at times, but they don't want to see me hurt. Also, they tend to have more experience than I do.

People who know more than I do most likely have more experience, also. But, just because someone knows more than I do doesn't mean they are necessarily right, either. For example, a computer expert would know more than me about computers. But if the expert tells me to do Format C:, even I know it would be wrong to follow a fatal command that would wipe out all my data.

Yes,me too,all of the above. However on the other scale, I tend to listen to what people don't say,because intuition can speak louder than words most often.
