I have one older sister (but she is rather like younger one :) )
I think that man who is only child is more selfish than man who has siblings.
Only child needn't share everything with brother or sister. Parents also concentrate only on their one child.

Single child and it sucks!
Selfisheness is not related with the number, but with the upbringing in the family, with the parent's attitude towards you.
I don't have brothers&sisters but I was always sharing my things with all the other kids in the streets, and in most cases , ended up spending most of my time in their houses, eating, even sleeping , playing of course...
I would have loved, and still do, having at least one brother and one sister to exchange butts kickings, hair pulling.....and all those fun staff

I have an older brother & a younger sister. But I guess you could say I'm the "white sheep". I'm the responsible one who usually takes care of things, since my mom passed away. I've been at the same job for 20 years & neither of them works.
As far as only children being selfish... my daughter is an only child. And I really don't think she's selfish. I used to feel the same way, but one of my best male friends in high school was an only child & was one of the most caring & giving people I knew. I think it's all in the way you raise them. If you give them everything they want just because they're your only child, of course they'll turn out selfish. JMO

You call this fun staff :) I remember every punch and every lost hair :).
I always was the equalin site of the conflict.
That is true without siblings you can feel alone.

hahah yeh 3 brothers live close but my sister lives in ON..
Soon i will be the one who lives far from them...
I didnt mind the sharing at all when i was young...
It teaches us to grow up and continue to share with people...
Now i have to lovely boys..
And they share as well..and hopefully continue on in their journey..

I have almost the same problem with mine. Difference si she earns money.
I wish you not my sister I needn't go to work everyday.
But I always was the responsible with my mother for my family.
Father was the artist and dreamer.

me too, at at that moment, they were not funny...now it is Food was always testier at my friend' houses, even though it was just bred and jelly ...
My cousin, who was my "parten in crimes" as kids, is loosing hair now, and he's joking that it must be because of all the hair pulling we did to each other

Good morning over in Poland. In answer to the question, I have a brother 11 yrs older and a sister 8yrs older. After I came along, I think mom and pops started wishing that birth control was retroactive.You can take part in every poll without posting comments.
