I've never heard that saying. Don't know what eyebrows would have to do with it. I'm much more inclined not to believe a guy with a combover. Just seems like they're trying to hide something more than just a bald spot.

Yes, I have heard this...(Irish Grandmother)....however, 'eyebrows meeting' tends to be a racial/genetic component as is a hairy back on men (for example). People cannot help their genetics or racial attributes, and neither should they, nor should they be judged on them.

Bless the Irish! I was raised with ever so many superstitions and sayings and always smile when I hear them as they remind me so much of my much-loved Nan!
